Lindsey Tag Typo

I just notices a typo on my Lindsey's side tag. It says "American Gril" instead of "American Girl."

Also does anyone know what the 2008 on the tags are for? Obviously it's not for the year they were made, although that's what I was hoping would be on the tag...

That is an odd typo! Is it on every Lindsey or just yours? I'm not sure what the 2008 stands for/means.

2008 is the new copywrite. It is for the company til that year.

Some Lindsey's do have GRIL, some have GIRL. The counterfeits all have GRIL. I believe that the Lindseys that had GRIL and the counterfeiters got one of those and you know the rest...

Does your Lindsey have a 2008 on the tag?

Edited to add: Nora has GRIL and 2008 on her tush tag. Katie has GRIL and no 2008.
